Meet Toasty Buttercup, our sweet little sausage with a heart of gold! Some dogs love their people, but Toasty loves everybody. She's a natural-born lover who believes everyone she meets is wonderful and deserving of affection. Toasty has the gentlest soul and a calm, affectionate nature that makes people fall for her instantly. She's not demanding; she'll simply lean her squishy body into you and quietly ask for love like the polite princess she is. Her beautiful golden eyes, chunky build, and sweet disposition make her impossible to resist. At around 2 years old and 62 pounds, Toasty is built for cuddling and is affectionately called our "little sausage" because she's short, squishy, and perfect for snuggling. She recently enjoyed an adventure, proving what an incredible companion she is. She rode beautifully in the car and walked with a calm demeanor and a happy tail wag. Toasty is the perfect partner for leisurely walks, easy hikes, or simply enjoying time outdoors.
Ideal Home
Toasty isn't looking for a life of chaos. She's looking for family movie nights, slow morning walks, sunny afternoons on the porch, car rides, and people to love with her whole heart. She would do best with another calm, relaxed dog to lounge with, but she'd also be perfectly happy as an only dog, soaking up all the attention.
Ongoing Health
Toasty is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12-month heartworm preventative injection, and a heartworm test.
Training & Support
Toasty loves treats and is eager to please. She already knows how to sit, walks well on a leash, is comfortable in her crate, and has great house manners. Her love for treats and eagerness to please will make any additional training enjoyable.

Transportation
Toasty is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
