About Liko

Liko's story is one of resilience and hope. She's a nearly two-year-old dog who, as a tiny puppy, survived an unimaginable act of cruelty when she and her family were targeted. Thankfully, she was rescued and went on to experience love and safety. Now, through no fault of her own, Liko is seeking a new home where she can finally find her forever family. She's an incredibly smart and affectionate dog who, once she trusts you, becomes a devoted best friend. Liko loves to be by your side, whether for adventures or quiet evenings. She's crate-trained, potty-trained, and knows several commands like sit, stay, down, and place. She walks beautifully on a leash and is always eager to learn. Liko finds joy in sunny spots, walks, hikes, and collecting treasures from the outdoors. She also has a wonderfully goofy side, often entertaining herself with playful antics that are sure to bring a smile to your face. At the end of the day, her favorite place is close to her people, often falling asleep with loud, happy snores.

Ideal Home

Liko would do best as the only dog in her home, as she loves intensely and thrives when she has her family's full attention. She is good with cats and would likely do well with older children who can appreciate her enthusiasm and respect her space.
