Barney Delight is a certified good boy with a personality that's sure to win you over! This happy-go-lucky pup's favorite things include being close to his people, doing a little wiggle butt dance, playing with his toys, and joining in on any adventure. Barney is a German Shepherd/Lab mix, about 2 years old and weighing 45 lbs. He's affectionate, mellow, and just the dog to bring warmth to your everyday life. Barney is a smart cookie who already knows "sit" and "shake," and he's also crate and potty trained, with experience using a doggy door. He'd love a home with a big backyard to roam and relax in.

Ideal Home

Barney would love a home with a nice big backyard. He is dog friendly and would do well with another dog that enjoys playtime but also appreciates quiet time. However, he is also happy to be your one and only furry companion.

Ongoing Health

Barney is up to date on all vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. He has also been tested for heartworm and treated if necessary.

Training & Support

Barney is already crate and potty trained and knows how to use a doggy door. He also knows basic commands like "sit" and "shake."

Transporation

Barney is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue run USDA-certified transport system. Transport drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
