Meet Ashton!

Ashton is a 4-year-old, 88-pound bundle of yellow lab joy! He was returned to us because his family was moving, and after growing up with them since he was a puppy, this has been a big adjustment. Despite the change, Ashton remains a happy and energetic boy who's taking it all in stride. He absolutely loves to play fetch and will enthusiastically bring the ball right back for another toss. Ashton enjoys being active and spending time with his people. He's a strong boy who's still learning his own size, but he's incredibly sweet and has gotten along well with the other dogs here at the shelter. He's a large guy with a big personality to match!

Ashton is looking for a family who will be committed to him for life and provide the stability he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is heartworm positive and will receive treatment here at the shelter. He will need a family committed to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care moving forward so he can stay happy and healthy for years to come.

Training & Support

Ashton is still learning his own size, so patience and positive reinforcement will be key as he settles into his new home.
