Princesa is a 2-year-old, 27 lb Belgian Shepherd Mix who is as cheerful and playful as her name suggests! She absolutely adores her toys, loves to snuggle up close to her favorite humans, and is incredibly social. Princesa has a zest for life and gets very excited when exploring new places, bringing a wave of positive energy with her wherever she goes. She's a sweet and affectionate pup who will bark to let you know if she hears a noise or wants your attention.
Princesa’s journey started out a bit sad. At just six weeks old, she was found crying after being abandoned. Thankfully, she was rescued, checked by a vet, and placed in a loving foster home where she blossomed into the joyful dog she is today. Now, Princesa is ready to find her forever family where she can continue to share her playful spirit and affectionate nature.
Ideal Home
Princesa would thrive in a home that understands that rescued dogs may need time to adjust and can offer plenty of patience and understanding. She is not good with cats and prefers to eat her meals without other dogs approaching her food.
Ongoing Health
Princesa has been spayed/neutered, received DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella vaccines, and is microchipped. She has also been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. She is on monthly preventive medication for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. She has a health certificate and vaccination booklet. Please note that like many rescue dogs, she may not be fully house-trained.
Training & Support
Princesa is a social and playful dog, but she may need some guidance as she adjusts to a new home. She will bark to alert you to noises or when she wants something. Patience and a consistent routine will be key to helping her settle in and build trust.

Transporation
Princesa is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our next cross-country trip. Transport is available for an additional fee.
