Malibu

Malibu is a stunning boy who, at approximately 4 years old, is looking for his forever home. He came to us from a Houston kill shelter, where he was found without a microchip and not neutered. He had a difficult start to life, but since being rescued, he has been fully vetted and is safe. Malibu is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm, having received his ProHeart 12 injection and is taking doxycycline as part of a slow-kill protocol. Despite his past challenges, Malibu is playful, sweet, and deeply affectionate. He thrives on human interaction and, once settled, he has a calm and gentle demeanor, showing the joy of a dog who knows he's been given a second chance.

Ongoing Health

Malibu is heartworm positive but is currently on a treatment plan and is on the road to recovery. He has received his ProHeart 12 injection and is completing a 30-day course of doxycycline.

Training & Support

Malibu is noted as not being house-trained, so he will need continued guidance and patience in this area.
