Mimi

Mimi is an 86-pound, 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with excellent eyeliner, excellent manners, and a deeply held belief that petting her is a public service. She is gentle, sweet, and wonderful with people, well-mannered in the house, and walks nicely on a leash. Mimi is not an overly active dog, though she can summon a burst of energy when the mood strikes. Her preferred setting is relaxed, watchful, and available for affection. Like many flock guardian types, Mimi is thoughtful, observant, independent, and quietly capable of plotting her next move. She is watchful without being frantic, affectionate without being needy, and smart enough that you should assume she has read the room before you have. Mimi is a lovely dog for someone who wants a sweet, steady, beautiful companion with a little independence, a lot of softness, and just enough scheming to keep life interesting.

Ideal Home

Mimi needs a securely fenced yard and a home that appreciates a big, gentle guardian-type dog with feelings. She is not a good match for cats, tiny dogs, or small animals.
