Cedar

Cedar is a very special boy who has stolen the hearts of everyone at St. Louis Senior Dog Project! He's approximately 8 years old, weighs about 60 lbs, and is as loyal, smart, playful, friendly, and fun as they come! Cedar absolutely adores people and enjoys the company of other dogs, provided they have multiple, proper introductions. However, he is not good with small animals.

Cedar's favorite things include people, going for walks, and snuggling up for some quality cuddle time. He's a very active and energetic 8-year-old who can out-tire dogs half his age! Cedar is also quite vocal and loves to express his feelings about everything, even singing along with the monthly siren tests. Because of his vocal nature, he would do best in a home where he doesn't share walls with neighbors.

Ideal Home

Cedar would thrive in a home where he can be a cherished companion. Due to his vocal tendencies, he would do best in a home where he does not share walls. He is not good with small animals, including other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Cedar is a neutered, vaccinated, and healthy boy.

Training & Support

Cedar is a strong boy who can pull on his leash. While he's made great improvements in his walking skills, he still needs an experienced handler to continue working with him on leash manners, especially his tendency to be interested in passing vehicles.
