Lola

Lola is a very friendly 9-year-old girl who is looking for her forever home! She loves to play with her favorite toy, a ball, and enjoys gentle walks. Lola is crate trained and knows basic commands like sit, paw, and stay. Her release command for food is "Eat Now." She is not destructive in her home and allows full body touch. While she was around children, she sometimes found them to be too much, so a quieter home might be best for her. Lola is also a dog who needs to be the only dog in her home. She is allergic to chicken and is picky with treats.

Ideal Home

Lola would do best as the only dog in the home. Given her age and past experiences, a home without young children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Lola has a chicken allergy and is on a special diet. She is current on vaccinations, licensed, and microchipped. She has been heartworm tested and is treated monthly for fleas, ticks, and heartworm prevention. She will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Training & Support

Lola is crate trained and knows several commands. She can be a bit picky with treats, so finding the right ones for training will be key. She is easy to leash and walk. She has a history of chasing cats and squirrels, so supervision will be important. She will chew up a dog bed but is fine with a blanket in her crate.
