Meet Dafne Doo, a 66 lb Siberian Husky with an estimated birthday of December 15, 2023. Dafne is a beautiful girl with bright blue eyes, full of love and joy, ready for her second chance at life. In true Husky fashion, she expresses her affection through enthusiastic talking and warm hugs. She was rescued from a county shelter where she faced euthanasia due to overcrowding, despite being happy and healthy.
Ideal Home
Dafne would love an active family who enjoys daily walks, and perhaps the occasional adventure to the beach or mountains. She's a true water-lover and an Olympic-level swimmer! While she gets along well with other dogs, especially puppies, and is wonderfully gentle and patient with kids of all ages, she would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention. If you're familiar with the Husky breed, you'll be impressed by her calm, gentle, and sweet nature. Her tri-coloring, with a gorgeous brown undercoat beneath the black, is stunning, though hard to capture in photos.

Transportation
Dafne is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can take pets to nearby towns or states, as well as Eastern and Western states from Texas. Ground transports using third-party vehicles operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. Adopters can track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates.
