Daisy Sue, a 2-year-old spayed female, is a delightful 35-pound mix of Pointer and Australian Cattle Dog. She's a bundle of joy, playfulness, and sweetness, known for her adorable zoomies and affectionate cuddles. Daisy's journey to finding her forever home has been a bit of a rollercoaster; she was adopted from a shelter in October 2025, only to be returned in February 2025, where she found herself on a euthanasia list. Thankfully, we stepped in to give this deserving girl a second chance at happiness.
Ideal Home
Daisy would thrive in an active home where she can enjoy daily walks, playtime, or a securely fenced yard to burn off her energy. She's a fantastic work-from-home companion, happy to snooze nearby while you work. Daisy would love another friendly, confident dog for companionship and play, as she adores other dogs and gets along well with pups of all sizes. Children 10 years or older who understand how to be gentle and respectful with a shy dog would also be a great fit. Daisy can be left loose in the house when you're away, but keep an eye on your shoes – she finds them fascinating! She prefers a calm home with a predictable routine over a busy household with lots of visitors.
Ongoing Health
Daisy is a healthy girl and has no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Daisy is a smart and well-mannered pup! She is fully house-trained with no accidents, walks beautifully on leash, and is crate-trained, sleeping soundly in her crate at night. She is also great at sharing toys and treats and has no issues with resource guarding. She is very food motivated, which makes training a breeze and a lot of fun! Daisy can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially men, and may bark or keep her distance initially. With patience, gentle voices, and a little space, she will warm up and show her affectionate, cuddly side.
