Holliday is an approximately 2-year-old Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a nose dusted with adorable freckles. He's a delightful mix of goofy charm and affectionate shadow, always ready to lean into love and dream of a cozy spot on the couch. He's known for his "tippy taps" – a happy dance he does when excited – and his sweet desire to be a lap dog. Holliday is smart, responsive to guidance, and eager to connect, making him a wonderful companion for someone willing to open their heart and home.
Ideal Home
Holliday would thrive in a home with a yard where he can safely explore and build his leash skills. He would do best with older children who won't be overwhelmed by his enthusiastic greetings, as he can be a bit jumpy when excited. He is also looking for a home with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs that he can learn to play with.
Ongoing Health
Holliday is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines. He has also received multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, flea prevention, and a 12-month heartworm preventative injection. He has been tested for heartworms.
Training & Support
Holliday is still learning about comfortable home life, including how to get on the couch. He is learning to manage his enthusiastic greetings and is working on leash pulling, especially when excited to meet other dogs. He is very food motivated, which aids in his training, and he listens well when given direction.
