Hi there! My name is Caramel, though some of my favorite people call me Caramella! I'm a sweet, playful, and cuddly Labrador Retriever mix, born around April 8, 2026. I weigh about 11.9 lbs.
When I first meet new people, I can be a little shy and new things can seem a bit scary. But with a little patience, kind words, and gentle scratches, my true, adorable personality shines through! Once I know you're my friend, I absolutely adore attention – belly rubs, ear scratches, cuddles, and being told how cute I am are my favorite things! I have so much love to give and can't wait to share it with my forever family.
My days are filled with puppy adventures! I love carrying my toys around, wrestling and playing with my brother, exploring everything interesting I can find, and then taking a good nap when I'm all worn out. I'm a smart cookie, too! I'm doing great with crate training, often heading into my crate on my own when it's time for a nap or bed. I'm also learning my potty manners and am getting pretty good at using my puppy pads.
More than anything, I'm looking for a family who will help me build my confidence and show me all the wonderful things life has to offer. In return, I promise to fill your days with puppy kisses, happy tail wags, and endless love. Could I be the missing piece your family has been looking for?

Transportation
I am located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and may vary by pickup location, including nearby towns or states. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter can track the van using the Life360 app and will receive updates from transport. Facebook chats are also available for tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these services if you wish to follow your adopted dog during transport.
