Elliott

Elliott is a 10-month-old, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd-Mastiff mix who is looking for his forever home. Raised from a young age, Elliott is a gentle giant who gets along wonderfully with people, children, cats, and even tiny puppies. He is also well-socialized with other dogs in the home and has many canine friends. While Elliott is calm and well-behaved indoors, he has recently become reactive to unfamiliar dogs passing by his yard. He is also an escape artist and can climb a 6-foot fence, making a rural property a better fit for him. Despite this, Elliott knows basic commands like Sit, Down, Wait, Off, Leave It, and Away (from the fence). He is walking much better on leash, is crate-trained, and can be left behind a baby gate without issue. Elliott has never been destructive in the home and is affectionate, loyal, and gentle. He is looking for a family who understands his breed and will welcome him into their home, not just their yard.

Elliott would thrive in a rural home with acreage, away from a busy city. He needs a family who understands his breed and is prepared for his escape artist tendencies.
