Oh my heck, we are completely smitten with this little lady! Everyone who meets Pippa instantly falls in love. She truly checks all the boxes and is absolutely adorable. When you meet Pippa, you're immediately greeted by those big, brown puppy-dog eyes – the kind that make you feel like a teddy bear has come to life!
Pippa is believed to be a German Shepherd mix, approximately 2 years old, and currently weighs 40 lbs. As with any rescue, her exact breed and age are a mystery, but her sweet nature is undeniable. She's a full-grown puppy with an adorable puppy face. This little lady loves to love, and once she decides you're her person, it's game over! You'll have a bestie to explore with, a snuggly princess to binge-watch with, and the reason your camera roll will always be full. Pippa can be a little shy at first in new situations, but she opens up within minutes, showering you with kisses. She's been great with children as young as 4, showing a gentle nature, but we believe she'd be happiest in a home with slightly older kids.
Pippa is very dog-friendly and makes friends wherever she goes. She thrives in playgroups with dogs of all sizes and temperaments, enjoying romps, gentle wrestling, and quiet moments. Her favorite game is chase, and she loves having canine companions running alongside her. She's a good sharer of both treats and affection. We'd love to see Pippa go to a home with another moderately playful pup who enjoys similar activities.
Pippa also met our resident cat, Biggie, and was very respectful. She didn't chase him and wasn't bothered by his feline antics. Biggie seemed comfortable around her too. We don't know if she's lived with a cat before, but we can arrange for a cat sleepover upon request.
Pippa has a perfectly balanced energy level, making her a great companion for leisurely walks and cozy couch snuggles. She walks well on a leash with little to no pulling. Pippa is treat-motivated and already knows how to sit. She is also crate and potty trained, truly a gentle and perfect little lady. We are willing to test Pippa with anything needed to ensure a perfect match – just let us know!
