I'm Roxie! I'm an 8.5-year-old chocolate Lab with a beautiful smile, gentle eyes, and a heart overflowing with love. I'm doing wonderfully with my foster family and have been showing everyone just what a sweet, gentle soul I am. I'm the kind of girl who finds joy in life's simple moments, whether that's heading out on a walk, relaxing beside my people, or soaking up all the belly rubs I can get. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will happily be your shadow and share each day by your side, I might just be your girl. One of my absolute favourite parts of the day is going for walks! The moment I see my leash come out, my whole body starts to wiggle with excitement, and I can't wait to get moving. I love exploring the world at my own pace, stopping to sniff every interesting scent along the way while taking in all the sights around me. Walks are one of my happiest times, and my excitement is impossible to miss! I also love going for car rides and hop in and out of the vehicle with ease, always ready for whatever adventure comes next. I'm a smart girl, too! I already know sit, down, look, and wait, and I take treats ever so gently. Around the house, I have wonderful manners and I'm more than happy to relax on my dog bed after a fun day. Once I find my cozy spot for the evening, I'll happily curl up and settle in for the night. Oh, and I forgot to mention, I love belly rubs! More than anything, I just love being close to my people. I'm happiest when I can follow you from room to room, keeping you company and making sure I'm part of whatever you're doing. My affectionate nature makes me an easy companion to have around, but I also have a playful side and enjoy engaging in games and getting excited when it's time for some fun. I'm currently living with another dog in foster care and am doing great with my furry companion. We peacefully coexist, and I'm equally happy relaxing in my own space when it's time to unwind. I've also met a few dogs on walks and have done well saying hello. I'm a gentle, affectionate, well-mannered girl with so much love to give. Ideal Home
Roxie would love a home where she can be close to her people, following them from room to room and being part of all activities. She also enjoys car rides and walks.
