Hi, I'm Chief Lightning, or my friends call me Chief! I'm a sweet, easy-going Australian boy, born January 5, 2022. I have a gentle nature and a friendly outlook on life. I enjoy spending time with people and have a calm, pleasant temperament that makes me a wonderful companion for a variety of homes. I've been assessed as workable with small dogs and have shown excellent manners during my interactions. I'm able to auto-disengage when appropriate and have consistently displayed positive, respectful behavior around smaller canine friends. My interactions have been sweet, relaxed, and all-round positive. I'm also cat workable and have demonstrated fantastic self-control around feline companions. During my assessments, I was able to spend time off lead around cats, easily disengaging and moving on without becoming fixated or overly interested. I have experience being around children aged 3 years and older and have shown myself to be gentle and comfortable in their company. My calm nature makes me a lovely candidate for family life. I have a low prey drive and have shown no interest in chasing behaviors, preferring instead to focus on the people and companions around me.
