Brownie

Meet Brownie, a handsome, approximately 2-year-old Border Collie with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for a fresh start! Brownie was found abandoned at a farmers market, but his resilience shines through, and he's as friendly as ever. This medium-sized boy, weighing around 35 pounds, is already crate trained and house trained. He's a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with other dogs and children. Brownie is a smart and eager learner, currently working on his basic commands, which makes him an excellent candidate for continued training and a devoted companion.

Ideal Home

Brownie would thrive in a home where he can continue to learn and be showered with love and stability. He enjoys the company of other dogs and children.

Ongoing Health

Brownie is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms using the slow-kill method. He has completed his doxycycline course and received his ProHeart 12 injection. To ensure his continued recovery, he will need to remain on Advantage Multi or NexGard PLUS. Wags will provide the next six months of prevention.

Training & Support

Brownie is eager to please and is learning basic commands. Continued positive reinforcement training will help him flourish.

Brownie is currently in a foster home in Fort Worth, TX. Transport arrangements can be made post-adoption.
