Fiona

Fiona is an approximately 2.5-year-old, 27 lb terrier mix with a spirit as bright as her personality! She's eager to learn, talkative, and incredibly curious about the world around her. Fiona is fantastic with cats, dogs, and kids, and she's already crate and potty trained.

Fiona came back to us in April 2025 when her family welcomed a new baby and could no longer give her the attention she deserves. She's been thriving in her foster home, rediscovering her playful side. Her play style is a delightful mix of goofy and springy, and when she gets excited, she does the most adorable tip-tap dance! Fiona is sweet, energetic, and genuinely eager to learn, making her a joy to be around.

Her foster parent describes her as a girl with lots of spunk! She's been wonderful with the resident cats and is embracing her role as a dog again. Fiona loves long trail walks, peanut butter Kongs, and tug toys. She's also an avid snuggler with her foster siblings. Fiona has even been approved by Camp Run-A-Mutt Gainesville, where she's been having a blast making new friends with her foster sister, Tessie.

Ongoing Health

Fiona is up to date on vaccinations and prevention. She has had a negative fecal test, a negative heartworm test, and is up-to-date on flea/tick/heartworm prevention. She has also been spayed.

Training & Support

Fiona is eager to learn and has already mastered crate and potty training. Continued positive reinforcement will help her continue to thrive.
