Winy

Winy is a charming 1-year-old male Labrador Creole mix, weighing about 30 lbs. He was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico. Winy is a loving, intelligent, and obedient dog with an energetic and playful spirit. He's sociable with people, children, and other dogs, enjoying playtime, walks, and affection. While he can be a little shy at first, he quickly warms up and melts into your arms. He is described as affectionate, docile, joyful, and loyal. Winy is crate and leash trained. He was found in a field with his siblings and is ready to find his forever home.

Ideal Home

Winy would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Adopters should have an open mind about the needs and behaviors of rescued animals, as well as experience with dog behavior and training. High tolerance and patience are important, as he is not house-trained.

Training & Support

Winy is crate and leash trained. However, he is not house-trained. Adopters should be prepared for the commitment of house-training a rescued dog.

Transportation

Winy is currently in Saltillo, Mexico, and is available for transport to the East Coast of the United States. Transport is available and will be provided by a transport company, with the adopter responsible for the $400.00 transport fee, payable prior to the pet's departure. The transport will deliver to the adopter's home address.
