Meet Blu!
Blu is a vibrant, approximately two-and-a-half-year-old Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix with a boundless energy, a big heart, and a beautiful brown brindle coat with white accents. She followed a kind soul home from a grocery store and has been spayed, vaccinated, and doted on with loving care ever since. Blu has shown gentle patience and a genuine eagerness to belong, but she's ready for more – a space to stretch her legs, a routine to call her own, and a family ready to match her curiosity with companionship. At 65 pounds, Blu is affectionate, incredibly smart, and motivated to please. Her favorite pastimes include fetch, tug-o-war, chewing on yak cheese, and zooming around the yard. She also enjoys supervised shredding of soft toys and cardboard strips as a creative way to channel her natural need to rip and chew, and she hasn't chewed on anything off-limits in months.
Ideal Home
Blu does best with three walks a day, plenty of playtime, and enrichment activities to keep her mind engaged. A fenced yard is a big plus, as is a family who enjoys an active lifestyle and has time to include her in their daily routine. She’s crate-trained, house-trained, and has been comfortable being left alone for short periods.

Blu has been spayed and vaccinated.
Training & Support
Blu knows an impressive list of commands and responds well to structure and training, especially with treats and praise. She is still working through her sensitivity to passing cars and men in baseball caps, but has made steady progress with positive reinforcement. Blu can get excitable and may jump up on people or "cob" (playfully mouth), though significant work has been done to help her manage these behaviors. She can also be destructive when under-stimulated, so regular mental and physical enrichment is essential.
