Roo is a smart and spirited 4-month-old Cattle Dog mix, weighing in at 19lbs. She's the epitome of what makes heelers so incredible: loyal, eager to be involved in everything you do, and always ready for the next adventure. Roo loves to play and would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog who can match her energy. Having a canine companion helps keep her engaged, gives her an outlet for play, and allows her to be the happy, confident dog she's meant to be. She is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she isn't a fan of going into her crate, she settles down quickly and does well once she's inside. She's also not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy.
Ideal Home
Roo needs an active home that understands the physical and mental exercise this breed requires. She is not a good fit for first-time dog owners and will not do well in an apartment. An experienced Cattle Dog owner with a fenced yard is essential. A playful, energetic dog companion would be a huge bonus.
