Lucky is a charming and enthusiastic one-year-old Pittie mix who weighs about 53 pounds. He has a joyful personality and striking good looks, complete with soulful eyes, floppy ears, and a big happy grin. Lucky is a curious and engaged dog who loves to experience life alongside his people. He thrives when he has activities that keep his mind and body busy, enjoying puzzle toys, licky mats, and enrichment games. Lucky's favorite adventure so far has been visiting the beach, where he loved exploring the sand and discovering new sights and smells. He approaches the world with curiosity and enthusiasm, making every day more interesting.
Ideal Home
Lucky would thrive in a semi-active home that enjoys sharing life with their dog. He would do best in a calmer household without a lot of constant commotion, where he can settle into a rhythm. He would be happy as an only pet or with other dogs, as he enjoys company but doesn't require it to feel comfortable.
Ongoing Health
Lucky is a rescue dog, and as with any rescue, breed and age can sometimes be a mystery. He is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, multiple deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
Lucky is a smart boy who enjoys using his brain and body. He does best when he has outlets that keep him engaged and fulfilled. He is a confident, happy-go-lucky guy who enjoys playing with a tennis ball or his favorite stuffed toy, especially tug-of-war with his humans. He rides well in the car, loads easily, and walks like a gentleman with his gentle leader. Lucky enjoys having things to do and will do best in a home that provides structure, routine, and engaging activities.

Transporation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue-run USDA certified transport system. Transport is available to drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation.
