Etta James {COMING SOON}

Etta James is a sweet senior female Chihuahua mix who is new to Bonaparte's Retreat. She has already adjusted beautifully with her foster family and gets along well with other dogs. Etta is medically okay, but she is currently quite obese. Before she can be made available for adoption, we need to have her thoroughly vetted to rule out any underlying medical conditions for her weight and then begin her on a weight management journey. She will be coming soon to Wags, so keep an eye out for updates!

Ideal Home

Etta is doing well in her foster home and enjoys the company of other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Etta is currently obese and will be undergoing a veterinary workup to determine the cause and create a weight management plan.

Training & Support

Etta is still new to us, and we are learning about her needs. As she is a senior, patience and a gentle approach will be key to her continued success.
