Nala

Nala is a courageous and affectionate 2-year-old girl who was rescued from a difficult situation with her mother and siblings. She's spent nearly a year in foster care and is now thriving in a home with her brother, Blue. Nala has a wonderful zest for life and loves to shower her people with affection, whether she's zooming around the yard or snuggling up on the couch for some quality cuddle time. She's making great progress with her house training and obedience, is crate trained, and sleeps soundly through the night. Nala enjoys playing with Blue, gnawing on bones, and just being near her humans. While she can be a bit timid around new things, people, and noises (the vacuum cleaner is her sworn enemy!), she's a quick study and will warm up with a little patience. Once she trusts you, she'll be your most devoted companion.

Ideal Home

Nala would thrive in a calm, stable environment where she feels secure and relaxed. She needs an adopter experienced with dogs who is dedicated to using positive reinforcement training methods. A home without children is essential for her well-being, and a securely fenced yard, at least 6 feet tall, is a must for her to safely explore and play.

Ongoing Health

Nala is generally healthy and has no known ongoing health issues.

Training & Support

Nala is progressing well with her housebreaking and obedience training, and she is crate trained. She can be timid around new experiences, people, and sounds, so continued positive reinforcement and patience will help her gain confidence. Consistency and understanding are key to her continued growth.
