Meet Pecan!

Pecan is one of six adorable siblings from the "Nutty Bunch." While she may not be the first puppy to race into your arms, she's the one who will steal your heart the deepest. This sweet girl is around 3 months old and weighs about 15 lbs. She's expected to grow into a medium-to-large-sized dog and is believed to be a mix of Shepherd, Collie, Pittie, and pure puppy magic. Pecan is a shy soul who is learning to trust that the world isn't so scary. When she first arrived in foster care, her tail was tucked, but now it's carried proudly, and she's even approaching her foster family for pets! Watching her confidence grow has been beautiful. She absolutely LOVES other dogs; they help her feel safe and show her how wonderful life can be.

Pecan would do best in a home with a confident, playful canine companion who can continue helping her navigate the world.

Ongoing Health

Pecan's adoption fee includes spay, microchip, UTD vaccines, and a current vet check.

Training & Support

Pecan is learning to trust and thrive. She loves to play once she feels comfortable. She is incredibly observant and thoughtful, and beneath her cautious exterior is a silly, playful puppy. She needs a patient family willing to let her bloom at her own pace.
