Bonnie

I'm Bonnie, a soon-to-be seven-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound with a heart full of love and a nose ready for adventure! I'm looking for a special someone or family to share my life with. I dream of a home where I can be a cherished member of the family. My ideal match would have some experience with hounds, as I'd love to learn new things like barn hunt or go on long, exciting sniff walks each day.

Ideal Home

I'm a bit selective with my doggy friends, so I probably won't get along with energetic, playful pups. However, if you have a mellow hound who's happy to coexist, I've been known to walk nicely with them. I absolutely adore children and think they give the best pets! I need a securely fenced yard because I'm an escape artist who can even climb chain-link fences. A stable routine is important for my happiness, and I really don't like being left alone for long periods. I also need a home without cats, as I tend to see them as toys!

Ongoing Health

I'm already spayed, up-to-date on all my vaccinations, and tested negative for heartworm and Lyme disease. I've also been treated for internal parasites and am on flea and tick preventative.

Training & Support

I'm a smart cookie and respond very well to training, especially when there are yummy treats like banana chips involved! I'm also working on my leash manners.
