Zac is a 5-year-old, neutered Anatolian Shepherd mix weighing about 60 pounds. He was rescued from a local shelter and has undergone FHO surgery on a back leg, which has fully healed and requires no further medical intervention or medication. Zac is described as a loyal companion with a perfect balance of playfulness and relaxation. He enjoys the company of other dogs, is house-trained, crate-trained, and loves people. Zac is a conversationalist, especially when dinner is late, and is known to gaze lovingly into his people's eyes. He has been exposed to dogs of all sizes and gets along well with them, showing excellent canine manners and remaining calm on walks. He enjoys toys, treats, and has not shown any signs of resource guarding. While he hasn't lived with young children, his foster believes he would do well with a family willing to teach him not to jump when excited.
Ideal Home
Zac would thrive in a home where he isn't left alone for long periods. He enjoys having canine companions or people nearby to share his life with. Whether you're a family or a single adopter, if you're looking for a devoted dog who will shower you with love and keep you company, Zac is ready to fill that role.

Zac has fully recovered from FHO surgery on a back leg. There is no further medical intervention needed and he is not on any medications.
