Zig Zag : Ziggy

Meet Ziggy! This sweet 9-month-old Boston Terrier/Chi mix, weighing around 15-18 pounds, is ready to leave her past behind and find a loving family. Ziggy arrived needing some TLC but has blossomed into a gentle and loving companion. She forms quick bonds with her people and absolutely adores snuggling up next to you on the couch, often found propped up with her head on a pillow, ready for a nap! Ziggy also loves belly rubs and will happily soak up all the affection you're willing to give.

Like many dogs starting a new chapter, Ziggy is still building her confidence and looks to her person for reassurance. She blossoms when she knows she's safe.

Ziggy would thrive in a home where she can continue to build confidence with a patient and understanding family.

Ongoing Health

Ziggy is fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, and preventatives, and is microchipped with lifetime registration.

Training & Support

Ziggy is still working on potty training and would benefit from a family willing to help her learn a consistent routine. She walks well on a leash but is still gaining confidence and may look to you for guidance. While she does well in her crate when left alone or overnight, patience and consistency will go a long way in helping her adjust to a new environment.

Ziggy is familiar with other dogs and, after initial introductions, mostly does her own thing. Slow and thoughtful introductions to new dogs will help her feel comfortable.
