Hi, I'm Zina! I'm a sweet and calm 12-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier who is looking for a peaceful companion to share my golden years with. Think of me as the dog version of a cat – I love my naps, cozy spots, and doing things on my own schedule. I'm not demanding at all; I'll gently let you know when I want some attention, a good scratch, or just some company, but I'm perfectly happy to relax nearby. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but with a little time and patience, I warm up and quietly become your most loyal and loving friend. I'm incredibly easygoing and already have fantastic habits – I'm potty trained, crate trained, and have never destroyed anything. Honestly, "laying down" is pretty much my full-time job!
Ideal Home
I'd do best in a calm home with minimal steps and easy access outside, ideally with a yard so I can take care of business and get some fresh air at my own pace. I'm not big on long walks. A quiet, relaxed environment is perfect for me – someone who appreciates a gentle presence and doesn't need a high-energy dog. I do well around older cats and would likely be fine in a calm household with older children too. My foster mom says I'm the ultimate couch potato queen – incredibly chill, loving, and easy to care for.
Ongoing Health
All my vaccinations, spay, microchip, and flea/heartworm prevention are up to date.
Training & Support
I'm already potty trained and crate trained, and I don't have any destructive habits. My main requirement is a calm environment where I can relax.
