Pearl

Pearl is a 10-month-old Golden Retriever mix with a smile that could light up any room! She came to us under tragic circumstances, found protecting her sister at a construction site. Thankfully, she was rescued and brought to safety. Pearl is a social butterfly who adores other dogs and gets along wonderfully with both small and large canine companions. She's also shown curiosity towards cats, so slow and patient introductions will be key to a successful feline friendship. Pearl is a playful pup who also loves to cuddle and be adorable, making her a perfect fit for a home with children. She's house-trained but not yet crate-trained.

Ideal Home

Pearl would love a home where she can receive plenty of playtime and attention. She is great with children and would thrive in an active family environment.

Ongoing Health

Pearl is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. She did test positive for heartworm but has completed her antibiotic treatment and will require monthly heartworm prevention to stay healthy. She has received a clean bill of health from a veterinarian.

Training & Support

Pearl is house-trained, but not yet crate-trained. With some patience and positive reinforcement, she will likely take to crate training.

Pearl is currently in a foster home in Rhode Island and is available for pickup or a meet and greet there.
