Momma Delta

Meet Momma Delta, a sweet and resilient girl with a heart full of love to give! Delta was rescued from difficult circumstances in Woodbury, TN, where she and her puppies were not properly cared for. Sadly, Delta was hit by a car, resulting in a severe leg fracture and femoral head displacement. She endured this pain for three weeks before her rescue. After undergoing an FHO surgery to remove her femoral head, she's now pain-free and walking much better, though she may have a slight limp. She's currently enjoying a wonderful foster home and is eagerly awaiting her forever family! Delta's birthday is May 18, 2023.

Ideal Home

Delta would likely do well in a home that can provide her with a comfortable and loving environment. While she has been noted to interact well with children under 8 and other dogs, we are unsure of her interactions with older children and cats.

Ongoing Health

Delta has undergone an FHO surgery to address a fractured femur and femoral head displacement. She is up-to-date on vaccinations and is on flea/tick and heartworm medication.

Training & Support

Delta is house-trained and appears to be a gentle and affectionate companion. Her foster family has provided her with a safe space to heal, and she's ready to continue her journey with a patient and loving family.
