Sally is a 30-pound bundle of pure, unconditional love. She's a professional cuddler and a full-time love bug who believes personal space is overrated. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be as close to you as physically possible, Sally is your girl!
Sally's past was tough. She was found living under a trailer with her puppies, neglected by her previous owner. She wandered the neighborhood searching for food, but kind neighbors helped feed her and eventually took her in. Now, Sally is safe and sound in a loving foster home, and her difficult days are behind her.
Sally adores everyone she meets, especially children. She also gets along well with other dogs, though she prefers slow and proper introductions. Once comfortable, she's happy to make new friends, but she'd also be content as your one and only, as people are truly her favorite.
Like the smart cattle dog she is, Sally learns quickly. She has mastered potty training and leash walking. She is currently working on crate training but isn't a fan and is surprisingly talented at escaping! She has been trustworthy in the house and hasn't shown destructive behaviors, so she may not need to be crated once settled.
Sally is estimated to be about a year old, but she has an old soul. Her rough start has given her a calm and appreciative outlook. She'll happily join you for any adventure, but coming home to curl up on the couch with her favorite people is just as exciting for her. Sally has spent enough of her life wondering where her next meal or safe place to sleep would come from. Now, she needs a family who will love her as fiercely as she'll love them.
