Macie

Macie is a spunky senior lady, 9 years old, with a gorgeous, super soft brindle coat, tiny ears, a curly tail, and purple spots on her tongue! She knows what she likes and doesn’t like and is pretty serious about her daily walks. Macie will make you work for her love, as she's been let down in life repeatedly. She came into foster care with a skin infection, double ear infections, and double ACL tears, all of which have been addressed. She continues to have seasonal allergies and a severe sensitivity to chicken, so she'll need a chicken-free diet. Now healed from her ACL surgeries, she loves going for walks, running in the yard, and chasing tennis balls!

Ideal Home

Macie would love to find someone who will dote on her daily, give her space from small children and dogs, and let her sleep wherever she wants after her walk. She prefers to be the only pet in the home, but she can be cool with other dogs if they give her space and don't get too in her face.

Ongoing Health

Macie has seasonal allergies and a severe sensitivity to chicken. She will need a chicken-free diet.

Training & Support

Macie can be a bit moody and will make you work for her love. She needs a patient owner who can understand her past experiences.
