Meet River! If you're looking for a dog who lives life at full speed, River is ready to dive right in—literally! This energetic 2-year-old is a fun-loving girl who absolutely loves the water. Whether she's splashing in a pool, exploring the play yard, or heading out on an adventure, River is happiest when she's on the move. Volunteers describe her as a "little powerhouse" with a playful personality and a heart of gold. She's a big fan of fetch, loves a good game of tug-of-war, and will happily bring her toys back so the fun can keep going. River is sweet, affectionate, and enjoys spending time with her people. She's also food-motivated, making training a fun way to bond with her.

River would love an active home that can keep up with her adventurous spirit and give her plenty of opportunities to play, especially if water is involved!

Training & Support

River can be strong on leash when she's excited, especially at the start of a walk, but once she settles in she enjoys getting out and exploring. She is food and toy-motivated, which makes training a fun way to bond with her.
