Rhapsody

Rhapsody is a sweet 1-year-old Beagle who was born at Ridglan Farms. He has now left that life behind and is joyfully learning how to be a dog for the very first time. Rhapsody is a true puppy at heart — energetic, playful, and currently in a full-on chewing stage. He’s full of enthusiasm and loves toys and playtime. Everything is brand new to him: walking on a leash, riding in a car, eating and drinking from bowls, house training, and learning to trust people. He had never even been outside before coming into rescue. This special boy is ready to experience the love and freedom of a real home.

Ideal Home

Rhapsody would do best in a home with another well-balanced, active, and playful dog who can be his companion and show him the ropes. A confident canine buddy would be perfect to match his energy and playful spirit. If you have the patience and time for a puppy in his chewing stage, Rhapsody would love to meet you!

Ongoing Health

All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Many have received further treatment for various conditions.

Training & Support

Rhapsody is currently in a full-on chewing stage and is still learning basic commands like house training and leash walking. He is also learning to trust people.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Out-of-state adoptions are available.
• A home visit is required (though sometimes not possible).
• Adopters must travel to Las Vegas to meet and potentially adopt the dog and then drive them home.
• The rescue reserves the right to deny applications based on their adoption policies for the health, safety, and well-being of the dog.
• Beagles under 3 years of age will not be adopted to anyone over the age of 62. For individuals 70 years of age and older, the dogs must be 8 years or older.

Transportation

Rhapsody is located in Las Vegas, NV. Transport may be available for out-of-state adoptions, but adopters must come to Las Vegas to meet and potentially adopt the dog and then drive them back.
