Ollie is a happy, social Black Mouth Cur puppy full of life and curiosity. He gets along well with dogs, cats, men, women, and even roosters, making him a very adaptable and well-rounded pup. As a young puppy, Ollie is playful, energetic, and joyful. He loves to run, chase, and follow his dog companions, and he truly enjoys being part of the group. He is also very affectionate, loves giving kisses, and seeks human connection.
Ideal Home
Ollie is looking for an active family that enjoys outdoor activities, and has a fenced backyard. He would do best in a home that understands puppy energy and is willing to provide consistent training and guidance.
Ongoing Health
Ollie is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and has been dewormed. He has been given monthly preventive protection for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. He has also been tested for heartworm and 4DX.
Training & Support
Ollie is food-motivated and can be protective of his food, sometimes trying to take food from other dogs. If they resist, he may show mild, passive defensive behavior. It is recommended to feed him separately and continue basic training to help him learn boundaries. He is not house-trained, as this is a common challenge with rescued puppies due to the organization's focus on health rehabilitation over house-training. Patience and understanding are crucial for rescued puppies as they adjust to a new environment.

Transporation
Ollie is currently being fostered in Saltillo, Mexico, and is ready to travel to the East Coast on our cross-country trip. Transportation is available door-to-door for a fee of $400 USD. Trips are scheduled 3-4 times a year, with a minimum of 15-20 adoptions per trip. Our contracted transport company will pick up the pets in Mexico and deliver them to your home, providing real-time updates throughout the journey.
