About Tinkerbell

Meet Tinkerbell!

Some dogs have a way of making the world feel a little softer, and that's Tinkerbell. At 5 years old, this beautiful Lab has all the wonderful qualities people hope for in a family dog—she's gentle, affectionate, loyal, and happiest when she's close to her people. Whether she's curled up at your feet, joining you for a walk, or quietly keeping you company around the house, Tinkerbell is simply happy to be loved.

Tinkerbell came to us alongside her brother, Simba, after their family made the heartbreaking decision to surrender them just before Thanksgiving. They even arrived wearing their holiday collars, and it's impossible not to wonder how confusing that day must have been for them. Despite it all, Tinkerbell has remained incredibly sweet and trusting. Her favorite days are the ones spent with her people. She absolutely loves swimming with the kids, and if you grab a tennis ball, you've officially become her favorite person. Playing fetch is, without question, her favorite game, and she'll happily keep going as long as you'll throw it. She also has one adorable little habit—we've caught her and Simba sneaking onto the bed every now and then. The funny part? The second they hear someone coming, they hop right down as if they've done absolutely nothing wrong. It's impossible not to laugh.

Tinkerbell gets along wonderfully with people and would love a family that will include her in everyday life—the kind of home where she can finally exhale and know she's there forever. She has so much love left to give. She's past the puppy stage but still has plenty of life, adventures, and cuddles ahead of her. All she's missing is someone willing to give her the second chance she deserves. If you've been looking for a loyal best friend with the kindest heart, Tinkerbell is waiting to meet you.
