Kelso

Kelso is an amazing 4-year-old, medium-sized Shepherd mix who has been through so much but remains full of love and optimism. He was adopted as a puppy and seemed to be in a happy home, but was heartbreakingly surrendered to a veterinary clinic just before Christmas. Thankfully, he was rescued and is now looking for a forever family who will cherish him and never abandon him again.

Kelso is a wonderful companion who has successfully lived with young children, other dogs, and even chickens! He's house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He has a laid-back personality and truly loves everyone he meets. Kelso knows his basic commands and is a joy to have around. He enjoys walks, relaxing indoors or outdoors, and most of all, spending time with his people. He's not a demanding dog; he simply desires a loving family to call his own.

Kelso has a proven track record of thriving with young children, other dogs, and even chickens, so he would likely do well in a similar environment.

Ongoing Health

Kelso has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and is heartworm negative. He is in good health and ready for his forever home.

Training & Support

Kelso is house-trained, kennel-trained, and walks well on a leash. He knows his basic commands. He is an easygoing dog who just needs a loving and stable home.
