They call me Rocky, but I prefer to be known as Rockstar! Let me introduce myself: I'm a charming 9-month-old, 12lb Yorkie boy with a coat that's a delightful mix between a muppet and Rod Stewart. I love my messy hair, and I usually win the battle against my foster mom's grooming attempts. I'm a quirky pup who loves shenanigans, especially zoomies with my foster Yorkie brother. I'm just beginning to learn what a good life is all about and need a forever family to continue showing me the way. I might only weigh 12lbs, but I consider myself a big boy and can definitely hang with larger dogs! While I find cats fascinating, they prefer I leave them alone. I'm a perfect partner for car rides and adventures. My foster mom is working on my leash manners, but I'm always eager to do things my way. I love my fenced yard and find chasing birds to be a great sport. I'm also terrific with toys; I love to grab them and stash them in the grass! My foster mom tells me to bring them to her, but I let her pick them up herself.
Ideal Home
I'm learning that not all things are bad, but loud noises and fast moves still scare me. I know we can work on that together. Older kids are okay if they don't chase me; I'm the one who does the chasing in this house. I enjoy my fenced yard and would love a home where I can continue to enjoy bird-watching and toy-stashing activities. I prefer to roam and sleep in a big bed at night.
Ongoing Health
I am neutered and up to date on all my vaccines and preventatives. I will require regular grooming to maintain my fabulous looks.
Training & Support
I'm doing well with potty training, but as I'm still a puppy, I'll need continued education in this area, and regressions are common during transitions. My foster mom is working on my leash manners.
