Pocahontas-One of our Amazing Rescue Dogs

Pocahontas is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who loves to cuddle and will shower you with kisses. She is a young, medium-sized dog with a curious spirit and a wagging tail. Pocahontas was found as a stray and, despite her past, is incredibly loving and eager to find her forever home. She is doing great with her training and is very eager to please, making her a joy to work with. Pocahontas is ready to bring her boundless love and playful energy to a family that will cherish her.

Ideal Home

Pocahontas would love a home where she can get plenty of attention and playtime. She is a social butterfly and would likely do well in a home with other friendly dogs or even a cat. A fenced yard would be a great bonus for her to explore and burn off some energy.

Ongoing Health

Pocahontas is a healthy young dog. She has received all her age-appropriate vaccinations, is microchipped, and has been spayed. She has also been treated for fleas, ticks, and dewormed.

Training & Support

Pocahontas is a quick learner and is eager to please. She is working on house training and leash manners, and with consistent positive reinforcement, she will be a well-behaved companion in no time. She would benefit from ongoing socialization to build her confidence.
