He arrived at our rescue after being found as a stray, having been on the run for a couple of weeks before being safely brought in. Despite his adventurous past, Houdini has proven to be one of the most loving and sweetest dogs we've ever met. His handsome, solid brown coat is striking, but it's his big, soulful eyes and gentle nature that will truly steal your heart. Houdini is an intelligent and curious pup, always eager for a new experience. He has a unique personality, often preferring the company of female humans and enjoying his independence while still being deeply affectionate.

Houdini needs a home with someone who can provide him with ample time, patience, and understanding. A securely fenced yard with high fences is essential to ensure his safety, given his history of being on the run. He thrives with outdoor time and needs a family that can offer him space and encouragement to warm up at his own pace, especially in new environments, as he can be quite shy and nervous. We believe his ideal home would be one without young children or other pets, as his interactions with them are unknown.
