Hi, I'm Slim! I'm a 3-year-old sweet boy who was found on a highway, very thin with swollen ears and scars on my face. Thankfully, my rescuer saved me and brought me back to health. I've thrived in their care and love receiving affection. I'm a bit of a bully breed, but I'm actually very kind-hearted. I get along well with female dogs and smaller dogs. I have some experience with male dogs, and would need to meet them first. I enjoy being in your lap and being loved. When I was rescued, I had some ear infections that caused me to scratch my ears, leading to the scars on my face. Thankfully, my hearing wasn't affected, and I'm now healthy and happy. I've been with the rescue for two years and am more mature now. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, though a new environment might be a little scary at first since I hadn't been inside a house before. I love everyone here and have been taught leash manners, including not to pull. I weigh about 67 lbs and am strong, but I'm very respectful on the leash and understand commands like "no pull" and "sweet." I enjoy playing with a ball, though I might not always bring it back. Sunbathing is also a favorite activity. I don't bark much, but I will if I feel the need to protect my people. I'm incredibly loyal and hope my breed won't be held against me. I'm eager for a chance to show you my loving nature. My rescuer says I have very pretty markings!

I'm house-trained and crate-trained. I've learned to walk politely on a leash and understand "no pull" and "sweet." I can be a little cautious in new environments, so patience will be key.
