Ivy

Ivy is a beautiful 1-year-old Redbone Hound/Labrador Retriever mix who weighs approximately 50 pounds. She's loving, smart, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered. Ivy adores people and greets everyone with a wagging tail and a paw shake, always ready for affection. She has a calming effect on other dogs and walks beautifully on a leash, showing excellent manners both at home and in public. Ivy adjusts easily to new situations and is happy to be by your side, whether you're relaxing at home or out on an adventure. She is also fantastic with other dogs and enjoys making new canine friends with her friendly and gentle nature. Ivy found herself in a high-kill shelter through no fault of her own and is now ready for a forever family to give her the love she deserves.

Ideal Home

Ivy would thrive in a home where she can be a constant companion. A fully and adequately fenced yard is a must; electric or underground fences are not accepted.

Ongoing Health

Ivy is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on heartworm and flea prevention.

Training & Support

Ivy has excellent manners and walks beautifully on a leash. She easily adjusts to new situations.

Transporation

Ivy is currently being fostered in Texas and can be transported to approved adopters anywhere in the United States and Canada. Transport fees can range from $200 - $300 for the East Coast and $250 - $350 for the West Coast.
