Meatball is a sweet 1-year-old, 50 lb herding mix who is as cuddly as he is rambunctious and playful. He loves wrestling and playing with his sister and other dogs in his foster home, and his favorite activities include chasing toys, chewing on puppy bones, and exploring the backyard. He also enjoys sunbathing, attempting to catch the broom when the humans are cleaning, and of course, treats! Meatball can be a little timid when meeting new people or dogs, but he warms up quickly. He's a smart boy who is already learning basic commands like "sit" and "wait." When he's tired, he loves to snuggle on your lap or curl up in his dog bed. Meatball likes to be where the action is and will happily go anywhere and do anything with his people.
Ideal Home
Meatball needs an active home with regular walks. He benefits from being where the action is and seeing what's going on. He dislikes being contained and will let you know about it!
Ongoing Health
No specific health conditions were mentioned in the listing.
Training & Support
Meatball is still working on his potty training and crate training. He seeks out a potty pad in the house and does well when taken outside on a regular schedule, but this is an ongoing process. He dislikes being in a kennel and is vocal when crated, whining until he settles. He is smart and learning basic commands, but will benefit from puppy classes and obedience training to help him grow into the best dog he can be.
