About Cowboy

Cowboy is a big goofball who is super sweet and loves human companionship. He's great in public and easy to take out as a dining partner. Cowboy loves walks and meeting new people. While he's a bit underexposed, he tends to be friendly with other dogs, though he can be a bit of a food controller at feeding time when around other dogs. He's easy to handle and just needs some training on etiquette, like not jumping on humans to greet them or get attention. Cowboy is goofy and silly and will make you laugh! He's not handling absence of human companionship well, so we'd love to get him into a foster or foster-to-adopt home as soon as possible. He's okay in his crate and may not be fully house-trained yet, but we feel if he had free access to go outside, he would quickly become house-trained. His communication skills are currently absent but should easily develop with proper attention. If you're looking for a really cool lovebug that will make you laugh with his goofiness and want a dog you can take places without worrying about his interactions with humans, Cowboy is your guy! He just needs some mild fine-tuning to be awesome! He is also very quiet, making him a great companion for those working from home, with babies, or who have close neighbors. Cowboy is super easy and non-reactive to handling like bathing, nail trims, etc. He's just a really good boy! Take him for a spin and see how he might fit in!

Ideal Home

Training & Support

Cowboy needs some training on greeting etiquette (not jumping on people) and is not fully house-trained, though he is expected to learn quickly with outdoor access.
