Wanikya

Meet Wanikya, a charming 6-year-old boy who weighs 42 lbs and is a certified cuddle bug! He absolutely adores affection, showering his favorite humans with kisses and soaking up all the attention he can get. Wanikya even has a quirky habit of sitting in chairs just like a person! While we don't know his past, we do know he's a smart cookie who walks well on a leash and knows "sit." He's also very food-motivated, which can be a great training tool!

Ideal Home

Wanikya can get a little overexcited and may jump up for hugs or take treats a bit too enthusiastically. For this reason, we recommend offering treats in an open hand to ensure a gentle exchange. We're unsure how Wanikya interacts with other dogs, so if you have a canine companion at home, we offer dog-to-dog introductions to make sure they'll be the best of friends.

Wanikya is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Wanikya is very food-motivated, making him a great candidate for continued training. Remember to offer treats gently in an open hand to manage his excitement.
