Meet Alexander!

Alexander is a charming 4-year-old who, along with his friend Panda, found himself in our care after not having a loving home. He's adjusting wonderfully in his foster home and is ready to find his forever family. Alexander is a friendly guy who can be a little shy initially, but he quickly warms up and is incredibly affectionate. He enjoys people and soaking up attention. He gets along great with other dogs, and while he hasn't met any cats yet, we're optimistic he'd do well. We also believe he'd be a fantastic companion for children over 8. Alexander is an energetic boy who loves his walks and is always up for an adventure, though he's also happy to relax by your side. He does get a bit lonely when left alone, a common trait for rescue pups, but he's learning to manage his independence with patience and positive reinforcement. He can bark occasionally, so he's not suited for apartment living. Potty training is in progress, as this was something he didn't learn in his previous home, but he's making excellent progress with his foster mom's dedicated help!

Ideal Home

Alexander would thrive in a home with another dog to keep him company. He's not suited for apartment living due to occasional barking.

Ongoing Health

Alexander is scheduled to be vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Alexander is working on potty training and is learning to be comfortable spending time alone. He can bark at times, so continued positive reinforcement will be beneficial.
