Forever home found!
Precious is a sweet 6-year-old Boston Terrier who weighs 16 lbs. She is looking for a new home after the heartbreaking loss of her beloved owner. Precious is a total couch potato who thrives on human attention, cuddles, and being close to her people. Her favorite activity is snuggling up on the couch as your tiny shadow. She may take a couple of days to warm up and trust new furry friends, but she has done well with her foster brothers once she felt comfortable.
Ideal Home
Precious would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can soak up affection and feel safe. She dreams of sleeping in bed with her humans every night, as being close to them makes her feel secure and loved. She needs to be crated when left alone, but only in a non-wire crate, as wire kennels are not a good fit for her.
Ongoing Health
Precious has no known special needs or health issues. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption.
Training & Support
Precious is currently working on her housetraining and needs a patient adopter willing to continue helping her build confidence and routine with potty time outside. She is also working on leash training.

- Phone interviews do not take place until after an approved application is on file and we have a possible match for your home.
- MABTR requires a fenced-in area from families who own their home, however we do adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases, a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing.
- We will respond back to you within 72 hours of receiving your application.

Precious is being fostered in Sioux Falls, SD. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR.
