Meet Loki, a 5-year-old shepherd with a heart full of hope. Loki’s past has been marked by abandonment, though never through any fault of his own. Much like Courage the Cowardly Dog, his big heart is wrapped in a layer of skepticism. He may shy away from his own shadow, but behind those soulful eyes is a dog who truly longs for affection. With patience, consistency, and gentle love, Loki slowly begins to blossom. It may take a few days—or even a week—for him to feel safe, but once he does, you’ll discover the depth of his devotion. He’s curious about the world but often lacks the confidence to explore it on his own, preferring instead to lean on someone calm, steady, and kind. Loki is searching for that special person who will show him he’ll never be left behind again, someone who can give him the gift of security and love. In return, he’ll offer a bond as soulful and lasting as they come.

Transporation

Loki is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. He can be transported via climate-controlled transport buses with dedicated staff, and pick-up locations will be coordinated. Alternatively, adoption is available at our Angleton, Tx location.
